Wake up to Mt. LeConte from the top deck, gather the whole crew around one big table, and bring the dog along. The View is a 3 king-bedroom cabin with recessed twin bunks, sleeping up to 12, in Mountain Shadows Resort (Phase 1). You're 3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, minutes from the Arts & Crafts Community, and about 1 mile from Rocky Top Sports World.
Freshly painted and fully remodeled, The View has all-new modern, cozy designs and fall decor throughout. Guests love the new look, and it shows up again and again in our reviews.
The View is family-owned by Charlie Neglia, who lives just outside Nashville and brings three decades of hospitality experience as a restaurateur in New York and Tennessee.
He's also a longtime volunteer and supporter of Volunteer Equine Advocates, so animals are close to his heart. That's why dogs are welcome here, and why our two pugs, Theo and Ruby, are the official cabin mascots.
Charlie's restaurant years show up in the details: a stocked kitchen, a spotless cabin, and a host who answers the phone.
Dogs are family here. The View has a grassy yard, wrap-around covered decks, and a pet gate for the stairs.
